Dogs

Bring your Dog to Rannoch Moor

Rannoch Moor is a fantastic place for both humans and dogs . Over 130km² of uninhabited wilderness to run, sniff & dig means that your four legged companion can enjoy this unique environment as much as you.

Dogs are welcome to stay in your room provided they sleep in  their own bed and don’t climb on the hotel’s. We also allow dogs in all public areas meaning that they can relax by the fire while you enjoy a drink in the bar. As a holiday treat they will even get a sausage for breakfast!

All we ask is that your dogs are well behaved and the wishes of other hotel guests are respected as required.

Wallace & Stanley

Wallace is our resident Weimaraner who came from Enjager Weimaraner in Cumbria.  Originally a German Hunting breed means that Wallace is right at home exploring the Moor.

Stanley is a Tri-Colour Beagle who loves chasing Wallace through the forest, unfortunatley his short legs mean it is an almost impossible task, but he still gives it a try!

They both love living in the hotel and occasionally come out to meet our guests. Normally however they spend their day chasing each other around their garden or fighting over the warmest spot in front of the fire!
